How does one code a triple hit lymphoma with MYC, BCL2 & BCL rearrangements?

Do they state what kind of lymphoma? B-cell, Diffuse Large, Follicular, Hodgkins? Sounds like you need some additional info before selecting your code.

Hello,

High grade B-cell lymphoma with a finding of Burkitt lymphoma related clone detected. The Provider selected Diffuse ultimately as there is not a code for "triple hit" lymphoma. I want to make sure that I understand coding for "triple hit" scenarios.

Thank you!

To my knowledge, there is not specific for "Triple Hit" specifically. You would code to the type of Lymphoma. I see Double Hit Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma quite often and I code that as a Diffuse Large B-Cell C83.3_. Hopefully this helps! Good luck.

Thank you, yes, thank you for verifying that there is not a specific "triple hit" code. Kind regards!
