This is the only thing I got in my email from one of my clinics. I have no idea how I could code this. Maybe I need more info from them?

Hi Stuart,
I have an order from the doctor for a TSH level for symptoms of tremor. I have scanned the list of ICD9 and this not a choice. Do you know if a code exists for this symptom?

head tremors today

I just happened to come across something similar today- the patient had head tremors due to her TSH levels. They lowered the dose of Levoxyl.

Yeah I found that as a code too, but I really couldn't get any other info from her on this. To be honest I think you are right about it just not being a medical necessity. She was trying to see what code she could use to get maximum reimbursement. This is an dialysis company FYI.
