So...quick question. There are two of us in the office who have differing opinions on twin coding. For example: Fetus one has poor fetal growth I would use O36.5931. If both babies have poor fetal growth one of us think you should use O36.5930 and the other thinks O36.5931 and O36.5932. Thoughts?
 
You use O36.5930 when there is only one baby. For twins one is baby 1 and one is baby 2 sometimes called baby A and Baby B. So you would never use O36.5930 with twins or triplets etc. even if only baby 1 has the issue you would still not use O36.5930 you would use the O36.5931. If baby 2 has a different problem then use that code with the 7 th character 2.
