hello,

I have been trying to find a site where it will show how many assistants can get billed for a surgery code.
My physicians are starting to bill for two assistants. Can anyone point me to a website or a book that will
show for each surgery how many assistants are allowed?

You will probably need to check with each of your payers for specific allowances. Most that I'm aware of will only pay for one assistant surgeon, unless maybe it was an extreme case and the surgeon can document strongly enough to make an appeal feasible.
