Two different providers, same practice (dermatology), both of the providers billed an E/M with different diagnosis codes. This is the first time I have run into this. I thought we could not bill two E/M on the same DOS when the providers are in the same practice. How would you handle this?

First provider:
99212 diagnosis of C44.722
11102 diagnosis of D48.5

Second provider:
99214 diagnoses of L60.2, D22.5, L82.1, L57.8, L85.3
17004 diagnosis of L57.0

According to this coding the doctors are removing skin lesions without assessing them. I don't think that's the situation.
