Two providers, same day, one MD does Dx, one MD does procedure

I have to code a patient seen by one provider (MD) with a nevus NOS diagnosis. Another provider took care of the excision (+local anesthesia) of the nevus on the same day. How do I code this correct? What modifier do I use?
