Patient was in auto accident and had abdominal surgery in the morning and returned in the evening for orthopedic surgery. How does the CRNA bill this?
 
Even if it is the same CRNA performing services for both surgeries. It would be billed on separate claims. There is no modifier is needed since 78 or 79 are not anesthesia modifiers.
