Now getting requests for U/S, No Dopploer, on transplanted kidney. In past always performed U/S transplanted kidney w/ doppler (76776). Now performing this w/o doppler raises question. Transplanted kidney not usually situated within retroperitoneal space; usually in the pelvic/abdominal space. So, 76775 (ltd retro) doesn't seem to fit, but would 76705 (ltd abdominal U/S) fit better ?
We are hospital (technical) usually doing these as outpatients.
