My question is a UA was performed on a patient who did not have dysuria or UTI symtoms. The dx reached at the end of the exam was 623.5(leukorrhea). Provider attached this to the UA. Any suggestions as to a dx code to be used with the UA?

If leukorrhea is the diagnosis in the chart note then that is what you must use. Does the chart note give any reason for the UA such as to rule out or confirm pregnancy?

No, there is no reason in the note. Provider didn't know what else to use beside the leukorrhea which was dx.
