I work for an orthopedic office and was wondering has anyone else experience UHC denial of the professional component for Xrays? I realized April 1st a new policy was implemented. Is anyone else using an Xray template and getting paid for it by putting it on a separate radiology report? If you are using an Xray template and is willing to share it will be most appreciated. Thanks

We are experiencing the same issue. We are a general practice clinic and have our own xray machine. but are being denied by UHC for the professional portion. Our Physicians read most of the xrays themselves. What is everyone else doing to get paid for the full component and not just the TC portion? If we add a 25 modifier to the office visit, do we need to have for example arm pain and then on the xray - fracture of left wrist on the xray? What if they do not find anything? Anyone found a way to get paid for both? Any specific CMS documentation to support being paid for the entire svc and not just a component?
