Hello Everyone
Our practice has recently acquired an Ultra Sound Machine. We are currently using it for Ultrasonic guided needle placement. We are looking into doing Nerve Blocks, and diagnostics such as DVT, Fracture care....
We have a physiatrist who currently does ESI under Fluoroscopy which is bundled into the procedure, as per CPT Category III code 0230T single level, and 0231T each additional level is billable, is anyone billing these codes and if so any reimbursement paid?
We want to be sure we are utilizing the Ultra Sound to its fullest capacity and reimbursement possibilities, can anyone tell me if their practice is using Ultra Sound in their offices and if so what are the uses and maybe some examples of reimbursement. Thank you for you help.
