If a fertitlity patient comes in for an ultrasound which is performed by the Physician, can a follow-up 99214 be submitted in conjunction with the ultrasound? There was no discussion between patient and Physician of the findings, etc. Just a quick ultrasound and then another f/u visit made a couple days later. Thank you in advance for any insight on this.
