Doctor saw a patient with a painful umbilical mass. Patient is scheduled for an excision of the umbilical mass. I have an ICD 10 (R19.05) but can not find a CPT code. His notes read "patient was advised that we would proceed with an infra umbilical incision with eversion of the umbilicus and resection of the mass. There might be a need to remove some surrounding tissue if a fistulous tract is found or a cystic lesion." Any help would be appreciated.

Are you trying to code for the procedure? If so, from what you've posted it doesn't seem that the procedure has happened yet. You won't be able to choose a procedure code until after the procedure has been completed.
