Good morning,

What is the rule if we have a new patient come in for meds refill but refuses to the ROS, Exam, & doesn't really offer any History? Would this even be billable?? Help please!!

Thanks in advance!

Sorry to say but the doctor needs to assess the patient's condition. It's a liability for any provider to write prescriptions without examining the patient's conditions.

And no examination means no documentation. Good luck.
