One of my providers in the ER had a lady come in who had an abortion 2 weeks prior. The patient still had tissue that needed removed and so my provider did that in the ER setting. Does anyone know if there is a CPT code to use for this procedure or would I bill an E&M?

Usually , D&C for this. Check any op report is made.
