I was just informed that Medicare/Medicaid prefer to pay "other" as opposed to Unspecified. Can someone confirm this?

I was told this yesterday. I searched the CMS' website and did not see anything pertaining to this. I know we have gotten a few denials with using "unspecified" and changed it to "other" and got paid for it. I guess, it's upto whoever gets our claims that day.
