Have a situation: We had a Medicare patient had a cataract extraction with IOL, pt elected to have a premier lens , which our facility charges $895.00. Our front office erroneusly charges $395.00, patient also signed an ABN. Question is are we able to go back to patient and collect the correct amount for the lens, or as I suspect, we cannot go back to patient since ABN was signed which stated the amount $395.00
