Urgent!!!! 2 E/M visits same day

I would like to know how to code 2 emergency room visits on the same day by the same physician for Medicare. I have used modifier 76 in the past and it has been denied. Would modifier 27 be appropriate in this situation? Thanks for any help.
 
You cannot code for two visits to the ER on the same day. They have to be bundled together for the pro side. If you are coding on the facility side, it is okay just to code as normal.
