I have a patient we performed a cystoscopy TURBT and a TUNA.
I believe the codes will go in this order..... 52234, 53852, 76872, and 76942 and there needs to be a modifier on 76872. Would I use modifier 51?

Please advise.

You would report the claim in the RVU manner, which is in this order.

53852
52234-51
76872-59 (If record supports the modifier)
76942
 
Urology Billing

To bill the TURBT you need to know what size it is. We use modifier 26 on all our 76872 and 76942.
