Is semen analysis considered part of the global period? If it is not could someone share what code they use for performing the semen analysis (looking for live sperm). Thanks
 
According to CPT the description of 55250 is
Vasectomy, unilateral or bilateral (separate procedure), including postoperative semen examination(s)


The only time our practice charges for semen analysis is if the patient's surgery was done by a provider not in our practice.
