I have a simple question. Anybody there to clarify?

Question is While we coding ICD N39.0, Is it Mandate to code B95-97 set of ICD codes. Because under N39.0 code " Use additional code ( B95-97), to specify infection " is mentioned. I would like to know how to use "" Use additional code "".:)

In this case, you only need to list your 'code also, (B95-B97) infectious agent, if it is known. Also, refer to your guidelines for sequencing of code also's. :)
