We are adding a practice to our tax ID - the new practice uses a different EMR and PM as well as clearinghouse. They will continue using their system but the claims will now be billed to our tax ID.
Will Medicare allow us to use two clearinghouses to submit claims for one tax ID?
Thanks for any wisdom if you have experience with adding a practice.

Good Afternoon,
I realize this is a pretty old thread but am hoping you got an answer for your question. I'm looking at utilizing two clearinghouses in my office and would like to know what others experienced.
 
Medicare

They will let you use two clearing houses for claims but you can only have one clearing house for ERAs with Medicare. Most payers in my experience will let you have two clearing houses....but not always. It’s really dependent on the payer.
