Can I use two V codes to code a post op xray? V58.89 and V45.89? The diagnosis on the script says s/p.

Yes you can do this but your codes are very generic, s/p from what is there not anything more specific to go on?
s/p C3-4 ACDF is on script

So the patient is s/p spine surgery so I would use V54.89 with no further info. If the patient had sustained a fx then use V 54.17 for traumatic or V54.24 for Pathologic.
