hi all,
can anyone explain me the scenarios for using V46.12 code?
 
This diagnosis code is to be used in the extreme circumstance where a ventilator dependent person is brought to the hospital or other ancillary department after a power outage at home. The patient only has a limited amount of battery reserve on the in-home vent so, they have to receive electricity fairly quickly.
