Any input on the differences betwee V58.49 vs V67.09???
 
Aftercare is used when there is something being done for the patient such as dressing changes or attention to tubes etc, the guidelines suggest that you should also use the V code for the type of aftercare rendered such as V58.32 for attention to sutures. The V67 code for follow up are used when the visit is for a simple survelliance of the patient to make sure all is well.
