Can I use V58.83 for:
Dilantin 80185
Vancomycin 80202
Valproic acid ( depakote) 80164
Carbamezapine (tegratol) 80156
OR any drug used?
My company doesn't use more than one diagnosis. Perhaps we are going to have to add the secondary diagnosis codes?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
 
Yes you may use that code it is appropriate, but it needs a secondary code from the V58.6 category to specify the drug.
