Hi All,

I was wondering when is it appropriate to use v72.32. Should this only be billed when the patient comes in for annual only or can I use this code during a follow up visit after an abnormal pap.

V72.32

Hi,
V72.32 is to confirm a normal finding following an abnormal finding that was treated. I would bill the first follow-up with the 795.xx that is appropriate. If that returns normal then the next follow-up would be V72.32. Hope that helps.
