I am confused about the use of V72.8X series code. It would be of great help if anyone can explain with reference when to use V72.81 or V72.82.

Hi,

If your document Chief complaint is Preop cardiovsclr exam(V72.81), or Preop respiratory exam (V72.82), or only preop you need to code V72.83.
