Hi all,

For V74.5, this was denied for diagnosis code age restriction because the patient was over 24 years of age. Does anyone happen to know appropiate diagnosis code when a patient comes in for chlamydia screening that is over the age of 24? *must i add this is a medicaid patient

V73.98 or V73.88 are the chlamydial screening codes.


Also, V74.5 isn't age specific. It probably has more to do with that not being a covered benefit after a certain age under Medicaid.
