Good morning all,
I have an office visit for a patient level 3 and the Dr. gave a vaccination for Td V06.5 and wrote - traveling- as a diagnosis. Is there a v code for vaccination for traveling??
 
What is the chief complaint? If it is to get immunizations and prophylactic meds for travel, you will need to use 99401-99402 as this is preventive. As for a dx we use V65.40.
