We had a 14 y.o. patient come in for a routine physical, after which she was given her third HPV injection, plus the FluMist nasal spray. We have this coded as 99394, 90471, and 90473, but the claim scrubber says we can't bill 90471 & 90473 on the same date of service, even with a modifier. Any suggestions?

Could it be 99394, 90471, 90474

90471 Immunization administration (includes percutaneous, intradermal, subcutaneous, or INTRAMASCULAR injections); 1 vaccine single or combination vaccine/toxoid)

( DO NOT report 90471 inconjunction with 90473)
( USE 90472 in conjunction with 90471 or 90473)

90473 Immunization administration by INTRANASAL or oral rout: 1 vaccine (single or combination vaccine/toxoid)

( DO NOT report 90473 in conjunction with 90471)
( USE 90474 in conjunction with 90471 or 90473 )

First vaccine is HPV which is intramascular - 90471
Second vaccine is Flumist nasal spray which is intranasal, addtional code 90474
