I took a new job auditing many clinics owned by the hospital. I don't want to say anything until I have backup. In all their clinics including peds, they are not charging for the adminstration code (90460 or 90471) as an example. I have read and looked on the aapc website and can't understand why they're not billing this. Does the administration codes get paid? Does medicaid and their HMO pay these codes. Does anyone have any ideas why they wouldn't bill for this?
