Wiki vasectomy ?

Hi everyone,
A patient came in for vasectomy which was only completed on the left side, now months later patient came back and had the right side done
Thoughts / ideas on how this should be billed ?

Did you code it as 55250? The code is for unilateral or bilateral, so you should be able to just report the code again for the right side. You could maybe send notes with the original claim since the payer may request them anyway. If the second one was done within the 90-day global period, I'd use modifier 58.
