Hello all!

Wonder if someone could help me out with this...patient coming in for transposition of right basilic vein with vein to vein anastomosis. Since he isn't doing a vein to artery anastomosis it's throwing me off a bit. I've been doing research on my own and I'm not finding anything. Would it still be appropriate to use the 36819?

Thank you to anyone for their input! :)

36819
AV anastomosis by upper arm basilic vein transposition (CPT code 36819) is similar to 36818 but with transposition of the basilic vein.
