Wiki venous cath placement question

Is 36005 appropriate for use as the cath placement code when access is at the left popliteal vein and the cath is advanced as far as the left common iliac vein to place a stent? No injection for venography was done.

I would say if you punctured the popliteal and went through the femoral up to the iliac it would be 36012
