Wiki vertebra burst fx stable vs unstable

Hi all.
Doctor's note states "L1 burst fx with retropulsion with L1 left transverse process fx" does not specify stable or unstable burst. Is there a default like open vs closed or displaced vs nondisplaced when not documented?
