I have a patient with 2 fx vertebrae. I charged the initial office visit 99202-57. Then billed 22305, 22305-59. Progressive Insurance only paid the office visit and 1 fx. Progressive stated that we are not entitled to payment on the second fx. Is that correct? If not, where can I find information about this.

I agree that the second charge for 22305 should not be paid. The description states "closed treatment of vertebral process fracture(s)"
