I am unsure what this entails...I am looking for help with what CPT codes would be used. Also, can this be done in an ASC facility?

Video urodynamic tests

Video urodynamic tests combine cystometry, uroflowmetry, and X-ray cystography into a single test. The digital equipment used in this test can measure urine flow and pressure in the bladder and rectum by using X-rays. The equipment takes images of your bladder during filling and emptying.

Bill for the following if you add a video part to your urodynamic study:
51600 for the instillation into the bladder of the contrast material, and
74455 for the voiding cystourethrogram, or 74430 for a static cystogram

Can I receive guidance on the billing of this scenario as well?

I know no modifier for add-on code 51797.
I did not use modifier 51 on 51784, 51741, 74455, 51600, and did not send off with 52000 at all. Provider sometimes uses 74430-26. Can the 52000 be billed? Thank you!

If your urologist just read the studies and did not perform them, then modifier -26 is correct. Remember for 51741 and 51784 the global concept does not apply and modifier-51 does not apply. Yes, you can bill for a cystoscopy. 74430-26 is used for a static cystogram when a patient is unable to void for the voiding cysto-urethrogram. and requires the reporting of three views.
