Greetings!! I have a patient with chief complaint: Fever, myalgias, cough, runny nose assessed viral illnes should i go with 079.99??? Any sugestion?
 
If in the assessment, the provider says it is a viral illness, I'd use 079.99 for the diagnosis instead of all the complaints.
