Employment Status: Remote Contracted (1099) Position
Position: PT or FT
Pay: Between $23-$60 per hour based on production

Responsibilities:
- Working multi-specialty outpatient edits and providing the client with feedback and education.
Qualifications:
- Current CPC (or equivalent) required
- Current CEMC preferred, but not required
- Must have 3+ years of multi-specialty outpatient facility coding, or multi-specialty outpatient edit/billing experience
- Understanding of Global Periods
- Understanding of Billing Modifiers
- Understanding of CCI, LCD, NCD edits
- Understanding of edits for government and private payers.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of coding/billing in EPIC system a plus, not a requirement
- Coding/Billing knowledge in multiple specialties including, but not limited to:
- Evaluation and Management
- Specialty Surgeries (general, integumentary, musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, urinary, reproductive, endocrine, nervous, etc).
- Radiology
- Pathology/Laboratory
- Medicine (vaccines, dialysis, chemo, infusions, etc)
- Mammography's (screening and diagnostic)
- Hearth catheterizations/intravascular procedures
- Casting/Splinting
- Pass a coding test
- Must have a windows based OS (not a MAC)
- Minimum of 20 hours per week, or 300 claims
