Reports to: Coding Supervisor/Manager
Employment Status: Remote Contracted (1099) Position

Responsibilities:
- Working facility outpatient edits
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have 3+ years of outpatient facility coding, or facility outpatient edit/billing experience
- Understanding of Global Periods
- Understanding of CCI, LCD and NCD edits
- Understanding of edits for government and private payers
- CPC (or equivalent) required
- CEMC preferred, but not required
- Working knowledge of coding in EPIC system a plus, not a requirement
- Pass a coding test
- Must have a windows based OS (not a MAC)
