So our physician documents debridement and then application of canthacur. Does the destruction code (17110) include debridement of the area first? I feel like this is subjective to the coder...I don't think the debridement is significant enough to bill separately. Wondering what are your all's opinion?

By code descsription:17110 Destruction (eg, laser surgery, electrosurgery, cryosurgery, chemosurgery, surgical curettement), the debridement would be included in the 17110 and not sperately payable.
