Can anyone help me for watchmann procedure-Left atrial appendage CPT 33340 getting denied by Aetna insurance with unproven. so please suggest an alternate replacement CPT for get reimbursement.

I know we've had to put the NTC codes on the claims as well as the Z dx code, have you been doing that?

yes coded with NCT codes and Z codes with Dx-I48.0, including Q0 modifier to CPT -33340, POS-21, still got denied?

have you tried a reconsideration with chart notes? I have had to send in chart notes on multiple occasions but we are getting paid by both Medicare and Aetna on this procedure.

Did you add the device number? 02699957 : this number should be listed under demonstration project identifier under claim data. We are using ECW I don't know about other EMR where to add.

I'm having issues getting our claims paid. I am able to submit the claim through Medicare's site and have it paid but not electronically. I've added CT02699957 on line 23 but it denies every time. Any advice?

DX on the first line item primary I48.0 and Z00.6 as secondary only . the second line item just use I48.0 only
We have been applying the NCT02699957 on line item #23.
