months of Medicare enrollment (G0402) is not covered by Medicare. The beneficiary is
responsible for the cost of the service. For further information, please refer to the
section of the letter titled, "Who is Responsible for the Bill?"
 
Is this a denial you are receiving? There is not enough information here to figure out the situation.
Maybe the patient is not in their first 12 months. Maybe another provider already provided and billed G0402. Maybe the patient has a part C plan that should be billed.
