Wiki Website for MEDICARE eligibility?

Does anyone know of a website that verifies Medicare eligibility? I have been using the phone, calling Medicare to get this info and it is very time-consuming.

This function is still in BETA testing with CMS currently. There are some companies, however, who offer eligibility at a charge. I do not know how useful the information is at this point. More people need to write Congressional Reps to make the CMS more readily available to healthcare providers. This has been in BETA for many years and should now be ready. If you need the name of the company who offers some information for a charge, I can probably find it out.

Our practice uses MedData. I personally have not used it, but from what I understand from the AR department, it is helpful. I think there is a minimal charge to use it.
