One of our providers has patients on weight loss program and is insisting there is a code to bill weekly weigh ins that is not a E/M code (ie 99211 etc)
He states it is a weight loss code.
The patient is only seen by the nurse and only weight is documented.

Would appreciate if anyone has any information on this
Thanks for your help!!

There is a code for recording weight but its just an information only code - 2001F - Weight recorded

Unless there is some sort of E&M component its isn't reimbursable.
