I am having the hardest time figuring out what to do when someone comes in and they do a well woman exam for commercial payors?
Am i supposed to bill a 9939__ with Z01.419 and the pap code or just the pap code?

I need to be able to still bill the preventative later, this is just the well woman stuff.

I have been coding in an obgyn commercial payers.
For well woman patient it is the 993xx code.
dx code is either the z01.419 or z01.411 code as principal dx.

I am not sure how you classify well woman and preventative separate visits but it will be interesting to know.
Do keep me informed on that.
As far as I see in my practice the annual preventative woman exam and well woman exam notes have the same exact components.
