I am currently in CRC prep course and planning on taking my exam in June 2018.

One of the course documents I was provided is a 230 page PDF titled 2017 Midyear_Final ICD-10-CM Mappings. I have not printed this off due to its sheer volume.

Will I need this document to take the CPC exam?

Thanks much.

(oh, sorry. I just realized that I am posting this in the wrong forum- going to move it to the education>student forum)

I only brought my ICD-10 book and I didn't feel I needed anything extra though access to google would have been helpful! :) My ICD-10 books tells me which codes are HCC or not. Im not sure if yours does. Its a tough exam. They ask question on "trumping" but they provide the graphs for that.

Thanks, Robyn. I took the exam on June 9th and the coding manual was all that I was allowed to take.

I was surprised and probably unprepared for many of the actual CRC questions vs the coding. Will see in 2 weeks how it all went!
