Wiki when is 26480 separately reportable with 25447

Hello,

I’m looking for clarification on when to separately report 26480 with 25447 as they do not bundle per NCCI edits, however, CPT 25447’s procedure description states “A local graft is harvested from the FCR or APL tendon. Through a longitudinal incision or a series of transverse incisions, the tendon tissue graft is placed.” Based on the descriptions of the two procedures, if the provider is using the APL or FCR (or any other local tendon) for the graft it would be included in the payment for 25447. If the provider uses a tendon from the back of the hand, then 26480 would be separately reportable?

When it's a transfer not just a local graft. I think there's a CPT Assistant if you have access.
