Recheck of a trigger finger. Dr. does same exam as usually and then does another A-1 pulley injection. Is the E/M included? Help , please
 
here is my thoughts. Has he performed surgery on the trigger finger? If so is it within the global period? By the information you have given, I would use an established patient E&M with modifier 25. Even if it is in the global you cant use the 99024 because it is not routine follow up, he did an injection - just didnt check it. I would probably also use a J code for whatever substance he injected.
